AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A 35-year-old man received two separate life in prison sentences after a jury found him guilty of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
Antwan DeLeon, 35, must serve the sentences consecutively, Randall Sims, 47th District Attorney announced Wednesday afternoon.
The trial happened Tuesday through Wednesday.
He was found guilty on both charges and the jury sentenced him to life in prison along with a $10,000 find on each case, Sims said.
The victim, a 13-year-old girl, knew the defendant, Sims said. The offense happened in November 2009 in Potter County.
DeLeon was already convicted this last year on five counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact in Randall County. He was sentenced to six years on each charge in the Texas Department of Corrections.
