NICHOLS HILLS, Okla. (AP) - A small earthquake has been reported in an upscale suburb of Oklahoma City.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 2.5-magnitude quake was recorded about a mile southwest of Nichols Hills about 3:24 p.m. Thursday. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The temblor was the second quake reported in Oklahoma County and the third in the state in recent days.

A 3.3-magnitude earthquake was reported in near Jones and a 2.8-magnitude tremor was centered near Paden in Okfuskee County. Both occurred early Wednesday.

Geologists say earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
