Police find drugs inside Amarillo discount store

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police Narcotics Unit arrested a man at a local discount store after searching the business.

Police arrested Ricky Glene Wilson, 52, of 2915 S. Pittsburg, on the charge of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a first degree felony.

During a early afternoon search of the Northwest 2nd Discount Store, 201 N. Adams, officers found approximately 7.6 grams of crack cocaine and one firearm.

The amount of crack cocaine had a street value of $700.

The charge is also called Possession with the Intent to Deliver and can carry jail sentence 180 days to 2 years and up to a $10,000 fine.

He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center, arraigned and bond was set at $15,000.
