AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A 21-year-old sustained life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with an SUV Monday evening, police said.
According to police, 21-year-old Zachary Mills was driving a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle southbound on Georgia near the intersection of 26th at about 9:23 p.m.
Police said he collided into a 2000 Dodge Durango driven by 20-year-old Preston Bain. That vehicle was northbound and turning left at the intersection, police said.
Bain was released at the scene without injuries, pending investigation.
The Traffic Investigation squad of the Amarillo Police Department is investigating.
