ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) - An Oklahoma man was sentenced to life in prison without parole for last summer's stabbing death of a 16-year-old girl. Keith Titsworth pleaded guilty to first-degree murder this week in the death of Madison Nelson. He agreed to plead guilty after prosecutors said they wouldn't pursue the death penalty.
MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) - Closing arguments are expected this morning in the first-degree murder trial of a man who's accused of opening fire at Muskogee's Arrowhead Mall. Dondray Fowler is charged with first-degree murder along with assault and battery with a deadly weapon for the 2010 attack.
EDMOND, Okla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a 6-year-old boy died last night near Edmond. Officials say the boy was found in Arcadia Lake and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has approved a deal to raise rates for residential customers of Oklahoma Natural Gas. The agreement means customers will pay about $1 more a month, which could generate about $9.5 million a year to help offset the cost of infrastructure improvements.
