AFD responds to vacant mobile home fire

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A vacant mobile home caught fire Tuesday morning at the intersection of Englewood and Keystone. Amarillo Fire Department arrived on the scene at 10:25 AM and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the home.

Multiple fire trucks and police units arrived on the scene, and the fire was officially under control at 10:56 AM. When Pronews 7 arrived on the scene, there was no visible smoke.

According to the Amarillo Fire Department, there were no injuries but the damage is estimated at $20,000.

The cause remains under investigation
