OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A man convicted in the shooting deaths of his former girlfriend and her two young children is set to be executed at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester. If the execution of 39-year-old Michael Hooper is carried out as planned tomorrow evening, he will be the fourth inmate put to death by the state this year.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A competency trial is getting under way for a man accused of opening fire outside the Tulsa County courthouse earlier this year. Today's proceeding is to determine whether Andrew Dennehy can understand the charges against him and assist with his defense.
MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) - A Muskogee man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the 2010 shooting death of a 42-year-old man. Andrew Hubbell pleaded guilty today to first-degree manslaughter in the death of John Michael Lyman.
