AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A mechanical issue caused an emergency landing on Wednesday afternoon at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport, officials said.
At about 4:30 p.m., an Allegiant Air passenger jet en route to Arizona stopped in Amarillo after its pilots reported trouble with the engines.
Officials said passengers had to wait several hours to another plane to take them to their destination.
No injures were reported.
