Severe thunderstorms cause destruction in Dallas

DALLAS, TEXAS --  

Strong thunderstorms have been flooding streets and dumping as much as 4 inches of rain.

Many drivers have been trapped in overflowing amounts of water.

Storms rolled over the city on Saturday night causing extensive damage to many buildings.

There have been two building collapses reported, including a partial cave-in at Urban Inter-Tribal Center of Texas.

Authorities have not confirmed any storm related deaths but there have been rumors of people falling into a local creek and getting swept away.

Dallas Fire-Rescue rescued a storm-trapped driver from high waters near the downtown area.

Several others were have been stranded in flooded streets near the Baylor University Medical Center
