A Friona man entered the building wearing a black gas mask and had painted black under his eyes, then ordered the tellers to give him money.

According to court records John Michael Garibay, 22, said "Don't make a scene, give me all your money. Give it"

Court records said that he fled with over $8000 in cash, leaving the bank in a gray Dodge Charger.

After being arrested on Monday, Garibay is charged with one count of felony bank robbery, and remains in the Randall County jail, without a bond, according to court records. U.S. Magistrate Judge Clinton Averitte will likely set a bond during a Wednesday detention hearing.
