OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - It's state fair time in Oklahoma.

About 1 million visitors attend the annual fair, which opens Thursday in Oklahoma City and runs until Sept. 23. Organizers say this year's festivities will feature Disney On Ice, bull riding and concerts from Jake Owen, Air Supply, Neal McCoy, Eddie Money and the Oklahoma Centennial Rodeo Opry.

And the food: organizers say each year, fair visitors consume 60,000 gallons of liquid beverages, 6 miles of hot dogs, more than 45,000 cinnamon rolls and 12 tons of turkey legs.

On opening day Thursday, admission is $2 at the gate. Opening ceremonies are planned for 5 p.m.
