Two arrested on drug charges in Amarillo

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Potter County Sheriff's Office deputies found methamphetamines, marijuana, a firearm and drug paraphernalia in a home in the 2800 block of SW 2nd.

Wednesday morning at approximately 8:20 a.m. Potter County Sheriff's Office Criminal Intelligence Unit served a search warrant that recovered the drugs, Potter County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies discovered 5 grams of methamphetamines at an estimated street value os $750.00, 2oz of marijuana worth an estimated $75.00 along with drug paraphernalia inside the residence, Potter County Sheriff's Office said.

At the time of the search, two adults were inside the residence. 30-year-old William Berry Pritchard and 28-year-old Lucy Beth Rodriquez were taken to Potter County Detention Center on various charges according to a news release.

The case is still under investigation, Potter County Sheriff's Office said.
