Amarillo police are looking for an armed robbery suspect.

At approximately 9:40 a.m. a store employee reported an armed robbery at  Toot'N Totum at 2441 S. Western, police said.

The employee said that a man carrying a knife approached the counter and told him to open the drawer and give him the money inside.

The employee gave the man the money and the suspect fled on foot from the store and ran north, police said.

In a news release the suspect is described as a white or hispanic male, 5'7" with a medium to stocky build. The suspect was wearing a dark stocking mask, a grey hooded jacket, gloves, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

No injuries were reported and police are investigating.
