AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Panhandle Independent Living Center hosted its 3rd Annual Heart 2 Heart Ball Saturday night.

The event was held at the Sunset Center Ballroom. Attendees of the Heart 2 Heart Ball enjoyed music by the Fairlanes. Dinner was provided by Abuelo's catering. The Second Chance Foundation also co-sponsored the event.

Proceeds from the benefit go to adults and children with disabilities living in the Panhandle. The contributions will go directly to independent living skills programs, youth programs, computer training, housing assistance, and transportation services.

The Panhandle Independent Living Center is a private, non-profit, non-residential organization for individuals with disabilities. Since 1988, the center has provided services and programs to Panhandle residents with special needs. Their goal is to build community participation of individuals with disabilities through training and community development.
