AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo police arrested Steven Edward Boyd in connection with Tuesday's bank robbery.

Tuesday afternoon an Amarillo Police Department investigator saw a vehicle matching the description sought in connection with the First Bank Southwest robbery.

When officers stopped the vehicle, two people were inside and discovered that the two occupants were not responsible for the robbery and released them without charge, according to a news release from APD.
