DUMAS, TEXAS -- A large quantity of designer drugs were seized from a Dumas business late last week.

According to the Moore County Sheriff's Office, the seizure happened at The Tailpipe in the 800 block of North Dumas Ave. last Friday. The outlet was selling "K-2", "Spice" and "Designer Drugs."

No arrests were made during the seizure but authorities said they will continue to pursue those who are distributing the designer drugs.

The search warrant was executed because the designer drug products have not been approved by the FDA for human consumption, the Moore County Sheriff's Office said. Additionally, there is no oversight of the manufacturing process.

These drugs, according to authorities, are smokable herbal blends that are marketed as legal and provide a marijuana-like high.
