Mobilize the Earth is the theme of Earth Day 2012.
Earth Day is Sunday and its purpose is to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment. According to the Earth Day website, it is celebrated in more than 175 countries each year.
In the United States, Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 and known as "International Mother Earth Day."
