More than $2 million worth of cocaine is now off the streets thanks to our area DPS troopers.
Last week, state troopers on I-40, near Conway, pulled over a mini-van for a traffic violation. Then they noticed signs of criminal activity, asked and received permission to search the vehicle. That's when the troopers found twenty-nine kilos of cocaine.
Their investigation led to a residence in Kansas City, Missouri where forty-six more kilos of cocaine, a stolen hand gun, and more than $150,000 in cash were seized.
