A Coast Guard Cutter spotted illegal dumping off the Pacific Coast

It was an unusual site for beachgoers off the Pacific Coast of Mexico when millions of dollars in marijuana came floating toward shore. A Coast Guard Cutter spotted a boat dumping the bales into the ocean near Baja, California Monday. The Coast Guard crew recovered the bales and brought them to shore to turn over to authorities. There were 137 bales of marijuana in all. The cutter did not attempt to apprehend the boat, but the Coast Guard is investigating the incident.
