Senator Ted Stevens awaiting a decision from the Republicans to be stripped of his committee assignments
Senator Ted Stevens, convicted in Washington in October on seven felony counts, told reporters he was ready to fight an effort to oust him from the Republican conference and strip his committee assignments.
