ORLANDO, FL (AP) -- Yesterday's (Thursday 12/11) discovery in Orange County, Florida of a child's skeletal remains has thrust the highly publicized Caylee Anthony missing case back to the courts.

Friday (12/12) morning attorneys for 22-year old Casey Anthony asked a Orange County judge for access to the crime scene where the small body was found, as well as access to any autopsies conducted on the remains.

Despite defense attorneys' request for access there has not been any confirmation that the remains are connected to the three-year old's disappearance.

Casey Anthony was charged with the murder of her daughter and is locked up in an Orlando jail since October.

CSI teams and federal agents say they will work through the weekend conducting test to determine the identity of the victim.
