PHARR, TX (AP) -- A man arrested after a Pharr girl's letter to Santa said she was being molested and asked it to stop -- worked for a South Texas school district for 11 years.

Record show 55-year-old Andres Enrique Cantu most recently was a computer lab aide at an alternative high school.

Cantu is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child and held on $100,000 bond.

He was scheduled for a second arraignment today on similar charges alleging he abused the 9-year-old girl's younger sister.

Police say Cantu, who was arrested Friday, is related to both girls.

Pharr police believe the mother of the girls was unaware of the abuse at the family's residence. The relative no longer lives in the home.

The girl submitted the Santa letter to her teacher at Cesar Chavez Elementary School in Pharr last Thursday as part of a class assignment. School officials contacted police.
