607 pounds of marijuana seized
CARSON COUNTY, TX -- DPS troopers stopped a Ford van on Friday for a registration violation and found 607 pounds of pot.
During the stop, troopers noticed signs of criminal activity from the driver, Henroy Sylvester Plunkett of Wellington, Florida. The trooper asked to search the car and Plunkett agreed. They found 607 pounds of pot in the cargo area of the van, the pot was valued at almost $200,000 dollars.
Plunkett was placed under arrest and taken to the Carson County jail for possession of marijuana. Troopers say that he was traveling from Phoenix, Arizona to Newark, New Jersey
