A new car dealership has opened in Amarillo
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Thursday was the official opening of a third Pete's Car Smart Kia location.
The dealership has already been open about a month and a half at its new location at 45th Street and Soncy Road.
Today it held its official grand opening, complete with a ribbon-cutting.
Pete Vaughn, president of the dealership, said even though some dealerships are closing, he says people should have a positive attitude.
"The economy is great in Amarillo. People are going to have to buy cars, and they have to get them somewhere, so why not here at Pete's Car Smart?" said Vaughn.
Vaughn says the dealership already sold a few cars today, and he expects to have average sales this January.
