AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The man accused of beating his grandfather to death on July 4 last year has pled guilty to manslaughter.
Jacob Howe, 23, pled Thursday morning in the 47th District Court of Potter County, and received 20 years in prison.
Howe is accused of beating David Spurgeon to death, after he allegedly tried to stop him from committing suicide.
