PARMER COUNTY, TEXAS -- A Parmer County man is in custody, facing both state and federal charges relating to sexual assault and child pornography.
According to the Parmer County Sheriff's Department, Claude Alexander Miller II was indicted by a grand jury for aggravated sexual assault and possession of child pornography.
He also faces federal charges of sexual abuse, and production, possession and reciept of child pornography.
Miller became a suspect while the city of Bovina was trying to fill a vacancy on its police force, according to the Sheriff's Office.
