NWS says take weather warnings serious
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Spring is right around the corner, and that means severe weather season in the Texas Panhandle.
Just because some storms are not tornadic doesn't mean you can get complacent.
"Because we do have a lot of thunderstorms in our area during our spring season you know we can get kind of complacent about the idea that you know it's just another thunderstorm and it's not going cause any problems for me, but be reminded that any thunderstorm can become severe in a short period of time." said Jose Garica from the National Weather Service.
Pro News 7 is featuring severe weather week starting March 22nd through the 27th.
