Fire department says fire under control
BORGER, TEXAS -- The high winds today also helped fuel a grass fire in the Texas Panhandle.
Pronews 7 confirmed crews were called out in Hutchinson County just after 4:00 this afternoon. The fire was located outside of Borger, just off of highway 152. The fire department said that while some structures were threatened, they were able to keep them all safe. Departments from Borger, Skellytown, Fritch and the Park Service all responded to the fire. According to the fire department, the fire is under control.
