Farris Sledge found about 9:00 this morning
PERRYTON, TEXAS -- Ochiltree County Sheriff, Terry Bouchard, says that 76-year-old Farris Wayne Sledge was found deceased this morning.
The sheriff's office started a search for Sledge after he was reported missing yesterday.
They now believe his car got stuck in the mud, they believe he died while he was attempting to walk back to town. Sledge was found around 9 a.m. Thursday about one mile east of Perryton.
The sheriff's department doesn't expect foul play to be involved.
