CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO -- A 40-year-old man is being held at the Curry County Adult Detention Center after being arrested by sheriff's deputies Wednesday on federal warrants for felonies in Missouri.
Jerry D. Klinker is being held on a $300,000 bond, charged with raping a child and receiving stolen property, according to a press release from the Curry County Sheriff's Office.
According to the release
• After receiving notification from the U.S. Marshals Service, Klinker was located at 598 Curry Road L and taken into custody.
• Living with him at the residence were his two small children, ages 3 and 4 years old.
• The children were taken into custody by the Children Youth and Families Department.
