SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A fed-up homeowner who couldn't stand the noise called police on his neighbor- an elementary school.
Olympia Elementary School principal Terry LeBleu has a May court date for a noise citation after Bruce Armstrong complained that a Family Fitness Day event was too loud.
The San Antonio Express-News reported Tuesday that police in suburban Universal City said they had to issue the citation.
LeBleu says the school has built a fence, removed loudspeakers and installed noise-reducing backing on basketball goals in response to Armstrong.
According to a police report, Armstrong told an officer that "police, fire, ambulances and the (Air Force) training jets are not unreasonable, but the noise coming from the elementary school was."
