TENAHA, TEXAS (AP) -- Another child has died of injuries after a pickup truck hit him and two other East Texas children waiting for a school bus.

LSU Health Sciences Center officials in Shreveport, La., say 4-year-old Nathan Cooks of Tenaha died about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Seven-year-old JaLyric Boykin died after the early Tuesday accident on U.S. 84 in Tenaha.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Danielle Cook was in critical condition at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler late Tuesday.

A call to the hospital Wednesday for an update hasn't been returned.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reports the truck driver, Eloy David Lara of Palestine, wasn't hurt.

It says he swerved to avoid two vehicles that had stopped for the bus when he struck the children.
