Some deserving mother's enjoyed a free brunch, compliments of Holiday Inn

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Some very special mother's and their children we're treated to a free brunch, compliments of the Holiday Inn at I-40 and Ross.

Hotel staff say they're glad to see an old tradition revived, the Mother's day brunch was an annual event, but the tradition has been dormant for several years.  This year the Brunch was brought back with the Downtown Women's Center in mind.

Several deserving mothers and their children made it out to the hotel for an assortment of tasty treats.

"Most of these mothers are probably not in the best situation, most from what I understand are not living at home. This gives them a way to get away with their children and let us just take care of them for a day, make them feel special," said Anthony Leal, Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn.

Leal went on the say that the tradition will continue next year, and the Mother's day brunch will be an annual event.

From all of us here at Pronews Seven, we want to wish all of the special women out there a very Happy Mother's Day, and to my mom Linda Loftin, in Comanche OK, I love you ma, and wish you a happy Mother's Day!
