The District Attorney's case against John Langford gains more evidence

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- John Langford is still in police custody, after being charged with investment fraud.

District Attorney Randall Sims filed one additional charge against Langford, in addition to the four that have already been filed.

The fifth is one new count of "Fraud to Sell Securities Over $100,000," which is also a felony charge.

Sims told Pronews Seven that he has had close to $1 million additional dollars reported from the community all around the Panhandle, since the first charges were filed, and he is not sure how many more cases there could be.

"As far as the size  this is going to get to, unfortunately, I think my nightmares about how bad this could be, if come to fruition. I've been a prosecutor for 25 years, and dealing with the individuals who have come in the office today is probably the hardest thing that I have ever had to do," Sims said.

If you have invested with Langford and Associates, please call the Potter County District Attorney's office at 379-2325, or the State Securities Board at (888) 663-0009.
