SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- San Antonio police say a cut and paste operation changed $10 bills to look like $100s.

Police say the counterfeit cash operation surfaced last summer with bogus $100 bills passed at a San Antonio grocery store and a fast-food place.

The altered bills had an extra zero pasted onto the corner of real $10 bills, at first glance making them appear to be $100 denominations.

Police say two suspects face forgery charges.
