AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Pronews Seven, Texas Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and the United Way's 211, are partnering up for another community fan drive.
Already the United Way's 211 office has an immediate need for donated fans and air conditioners. Forty plus citizens have applied for the donations, and temperatures are rising.
"These people need all the help they can get, it's extremely hot in the summer and there are some people that just aren't in places where they can get air conditioning, elderly, young children, we need to help any way we can," said Mike Case, General Manager, Texas Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep.
We're looking for new, gently used, and working fans, air conditioners, and monetary donations that can be donated to the folks who need them this summer.
"Times are a little tough, it's extremely hot in the summer, so we appreciate any fans that are donated," said Case.
You can drop off the donated fan or AC at our Pronews Seven studio located at 11th and Pierce, or Texas Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep located at I-40 between Coulter and Soncy.
