CLARENDON, TX --   Many people will head down to the lake to try and beat the heat this summer, but issues with alcohol at one local lake has officials considering a ban on those beverages. After a rough 4th of July, Donley County Sheriff Butch Blackburn says he wants alcohol banned from Lake Greenbelt. Blackburn says people tell him they don't like going to the lake anymore because of all of the drinking and fighting. "We'll have people that's intoxicated will walk down to their campsite, and try to cause a problem and it's mainly just a drunken brawl," said Sheriff Blackburn.  Pronews 7 contacted the Greenbelt Water Authority, but they had no comment. They say they didn't know enough about the situation.
