DALLAS, TEXAS (AP) -- Three youngsters have been placed with Child Protective Services after allegedly being starved and forced to remain in a bathroom at a Dallas motel.
Court records show the stepfather was charged with continuous aggravated sexual assault of one of the children, a girl.
The mother is charged with injury to a child.
Both remained in jail Monday.
Court documents indicate the children, ages 11, 10 and 5, were malnourished and required hospitalization after being discovered by police earlier this month during a domestic call.
Police say a year-old child was found in a crib at the motel and also was put into CPS custody.
