AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Yesterday officers were dispatched to 1608 N. Manhattan on a report of a drive by shooting and found Mark Anthony Rojas, 44, dead.

Mr. Rojas had been shot twice in the upper body, by the lone occupant of a passenger car, which had been south bound on Manhattan Street. He was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9 p.m.

A warrant charging Murder was issued by the Potter County District Attorney office against a Hispanic male, 23, who has not  yet been located.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the scene in a white passenger car. The shooting may have occurred over a fight that occurred at the same residence earlier in the day. The weapon used in this incident has not been recovered.
