AMARILLO, TEXAS -- After all the rain Amarillo saw last week, you may be mowing your yard soon. Instead of throwing away those grass clippings let the High Plains Food Bank turn it into fertilizer for the new Community Garden.

Bring bags of grass clippings to S. E. 9th at Osage, that's directly behind the Food Bank located at 810 S. Ross, and look for the sign.

This garden will be helping feed 1000 at-risk kids per day.
