AMARILLO, TEXAS -- ProNews 7 found out today how much an average parent is going to have to pay for his or her third grader's supplies this year.
We got 22 items at Wal-Mart, which was everything on the list for a girl for an Arden Road third grader, for about $40.
Also on that list is a note that says all of those items can be purchased from the Arden Road PTA.
Parents who were also buying items today told us that they had spent anywhere from almost $200 to only $20.
