The Center for Disease Control have posted guidelines to help school administrators
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Center for Disease Control and the Texas Education Agency have posted some guidelines for school administrators in efforts to help prepare for the upcoming school year and flu season.
They also present the pros and cons of dismissing school if a confirmed case of the swine flu is found in their district.
"The CDC basically wants school districts to find a balance between the risk of flu and the disruption that school dismissal will cause to the students education as well as the community," said Christy Bertolino, Coordinator of Communications for Canyon I.S.D.
The H1N1 guidelines are found on the T.E.A's website and flu.gov.
