AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Potter County Courthouse received a bomb threat about 7:40 this morning. The County Clerks office received a message saying  there was a bomb in the courthouse, and it would go off today.

They didn't know which courthouse it was aimed at because the message was very generic. Because it was early in the morning, they didn't let people in, and evacuated everyone else so they could do a sweep.

Nothing was located, and everyone returned to work around 8:45 a.m. APD assisted with the sweeps.

Now, Police are trying to trace the source of the message.
