AMARILLO, TEXAS -- According to a press release, State Senator Kel Seliger is kicking off his annual town hall meetings across Senate District 31. Seliger will be visiting each of the 26 counties throughout the Panhandle, South Plains and the Permian Basin over the next several weeks to report to constituents about the activities of the 81st Legislature during the recently completed regular and called legislative sessions.
"I look forward to these town hall meetings every year because they allow me to report back to the people who employ me about the work done on their behalf during the 81st Legislative Session. It also allows me to visit with constituents about the issues they would like to see addressed by the 82nd Legislature, which is just around the corner," said Seliger.
"My legislative package comes largely from concerns raised by the people I work for, which is why I believe these town halls are essential to helping me best represent them."
