AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Commissioner Manny Perez asked for some big money at the Potter Country Commission meeting this morning.
Perez put it on the agenda for the county to give one million dollars to help build an overpass at the intersection of 3rd and Grand.
The intersection has long been a hassle for drivers who get stopped by passing trains. The Commission tabled the agenda item, but Perez did say he is adamant about getting the project done.
