AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Coalition for American Traditions and Ethics is calling for a renewed focus on Western Civilization and Ethics coursework in Texas colleges and universities.
They are asking lawmakers to study the value of fostering greater civic knowledge.
The group also known as "Cate" wants students to be given a strong background in American ideals, institutions, and traditions and to graduate with increased ethical character.
