The penalty trial resumes Tuesday in Lubbock in the case against a Missouri man who pleaded guilty to murdering three members of a Texas Panhandle family.

LUBBOCK, TEXAS (AP) -- The trial of 26-year-old Levi King has been in recess since midday Friday after a forensic pathologist testified about the autopsies on the victims.

King has pleaded guilty to capital murder in the deaths of 35-year-old Michell Conrad, 31-year-old husband Brian Conrad and her 14-year-old son Zach Doan. Michell Conrad was six months pregnant.

The mother's 10-year-old daughter survived the Sept. 30, 2005, massacre at the family farmhouse to call 911.

Last year, King pleaded guilty to killing two people in Missouri. Their bodies were found the same day authorities in the Texas Panhandle discovered the bodies in the Conrad's home.
