Down by 200 employees
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- In the past ten months Baptist Saint Anthony's has reduced its workforce by more than 200 employees.
Back in November of last year, BSA officials stated that they employed 3,300 people.
Today the administration announced another reduction of 1.5% of its workforce bringing the number of employees to a little less than 3,100.
Officials say that lower patient volumes and reduced reimbursement for care provided are to blame.
In addition to the fact that some people have left and their positions have not been replaced.
