Westlake Retirement Community to be completed by this time next year
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- More than 40 partners from the Panhandle broke ground today on the newest addition to Amarillo, aimed to give seniors another option for a safe place to retire to.
Builders are aiming for the project to be complete by this time next year it will have a golf course, swimming area, theatre, 165 homes and 120 apartments available, that investors say will provide seniors with a type of care that is currently unavailable in this part of the country.
Currently, the project is in phase one, which builds a road to that area of North Coulter.
