No longer $5, now $2.50
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A few days ago, ProNews Seven told you about a possible reversal of a decision Potter County Commissioners made last week.
This morning, they held a special meeting to talk about the increasing cost of health insurance premiums.
And at that meeting, Commissioners did vote to rescind the action they took last week.
That was to raise employee health insurance premiums $5 per pay period for dependants.
The new decision is half that - raising premiums two and a half dollars per pay period, $5 a month.
That should help make up for a quarter million dollar shortfall.
The $2.50 hike will go into effect October first.
And again, that $5 increase per paycheck no longer exists.
